The Department has adopted and implements the institution of the Adviser Professor. This institution facilitates undergraduate students to complete their studies in the most rational and efficient way.
The Professor Counsellor chooses the way of approaching and helping the students assigned to him.

 

As a minimum common approach of our students, the Advising Professors inform and advise the students about all the following:
 

• Course content, participation in workshops, utilization of the Department's infrastructure, difficulties, ways of evaluating courses, encouraging the student to participate in progress, workshops, series of exercises, remedial teaching with additional tutoring, etc. which help the student to understand and pass the lesson.

• Content of elective courses and discussion with the student about personal interests before the final selection of the course.

• Discussion of test results.

• Postgraduate studies (in the Department, in Greece and / or abroad).

• Career prospects (public and private sector opportunities, freelance, jobs abroad).

• Discussion of staff or other issue that creates obstacles to studies.
