Project Management Seminars

Within the framework of the project "Excellence Strategy of the University of Thessaly - Development of an Innovation / Entrepreneurship Center" (SUB2: "Universities of Excellence" - TA 5180665) , the University of Thessaly, through the One Planet Thessaly Unit , is organizing a webinar on the topic of "Project Management" , addressed to students, postgraduates, doctoral candidates, researchers and faculty members of the Institution.

Objective of the Seminar

The seminar aims to strengthen the skills of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring research, development and investment projects, providing practical tools and modern methodologies that can be applied immediately.

Content – Thematic Units

• Project life cycle and basic management principles

• Planning, organization and schedules (Gantt, WBS)

• Financial management – Budgeting, cost control, EVM, CPI/SPI

• Communication, information flows and reporting systems

• Human resources and collaborative team management

• Case studies and use of tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana

The seminar will be held online on Thursday, December 4, 2025, 10:00–12:00 in the morning .
