Dr Maria Saridi is an Associate  Professor at the Department of Nursing at the University of Thessaly with a specialization in "Clinical Nursing, with an emphasis on the Care of the Chronically Ill". She has over 30 years of experience in nursing, and two years as a  manager of public hospitals in Greece. She has completed her doctoral thesis at the Nursing Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2019, she completed her postdoctoral research at the Department of Social and Educational Policy of the University of Peloponnese with emphasis in public health, health promotion and health education programs. Maria’s research and interests  mainly focuses on care and nursing , on management and on health promotion,  and public health and community health  items. Her publication appears over 200 publications  in scientific journals of recognized prestige with indexation in international databases with many citations too ( < 1900). At last Maria has participate in research products about Pharmacoeconomic and cost effectiveness study of obinutuzumab and  dupilumab,  about Diabetes Mellitus, Asthma,   and in BeEmTel, a program Telecare for Non-Communicable Diseases through Simulation Techniques.
