Dr Foteini Malli graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of
Ioannina at 2006. She is a certified Pulmonologist since 2016. She has a PhD in
Interstitial Lung Diseases from the Respiratory Medicine Department of the
University of Thessaly. She is a Professor of the University of Thessaly and Head of the Respiratory Disorders Lab of the Department of Nursing of the University of Thessaly.  
She gives lectures in several post graduate courses and is responsible for courses such as “Respiratory physiotherapy” and “Interdisciplinary management in primary care”. She has organized and is the Scientific Co-ordinator (Head) the Pulmonary Embolism Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital of Larissa. She has served as a guest editor of established scientific journals including Medicina and Frontiers in Nutrition. She has been awarded 3 grants for research protocols from the Hellenic Thoracic Society and she has collaborated in the writing of five books. She has 100 publications in International scientific journals (indexed in Pubmed) and several abstracts in national and international congresses. She has ranked 14th worldwide in the scientific area of Pulmonary embolism for 2021 (“AD Scientific Index 2022”). Her main areas of interest are venous thromboembolic diseases and interstitial lung
