Library and Information Center

The Department does not have its own printed library but it is served by the Central Library located in Gaiopolis, where most of the books of our Department have been transferred. The Library provides its users with access to On-line databases with access to over 12000 scientific journals and conference proceedings in the fields of nursing, but also to the wider health sciences with various thematic search possibilities, with the possibility of searching reports and the possibility creating a researcher identity. Particularly useful and important is the possibility of electronic access to publishing houses through the Academic Libraries Consortium (HEALink) and the Information and Lending Service of the Central Library.

More broadly, there is the Library and Information Centre (L.I.C.) of the University of Thessaly http://www.lib.uth.gr/LWS/el/el_hp.asp  operating as a single, independent, and decentralized unit at Management level. It offers its services to all members of the academic community of the University of Thessaly.
