Credit Transfer System (ECTS) Implementation

Pursuant to the National Institutional Framework, the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is fully implemented. According to the Regulation of Studies, art.2 §19 (see appendix B20a), Each PM-ECTS is equivalent to one weekly teaching hour for one semester for independent course teaching and one to three weekly teaching hours or one semester for the other forms of courses, to which is added the extra effort paid by the student studying in the library or at home and taking the exam. The ECTS that correspond to each semester course, compulsory or optional compulsory, are mentioned in its description in the Curriculum. The Curriculum also mentions the minimum number of P.M. ECTS required to obtain a degree. "

The credit unit system (ECTS) is also applied to the recognition of courses in the cases of enrolment in the Department of Nursing, after qualifying examinations of graduates of other University Departments.
